APOLLON

APOLLON · About

Two specialisms, one system.

The sound and the idea of APOLLON come from KYKLOS MODULE. Everything that carries the sound, the platform, the hardware and the software, is built by AudioCrypt. One belongs with the other.

APOLLON is a partnership with clear roles: one partner shapes the sound, the other builds the system it plays on.

KYKLOS MODULE is responsible for the sound and the basic idea: the ten APOLLON frequencies, their compositions and the original module concept.

AudioCrypt is responsible for everything else: preparing the sound for playback, the technology in the background, the hardware, the software, the platform and these websites. AudioCrypt is a trademark of Nomad Code Labs, LLC.

KYKLOS MODULE, where APOLLON began

Birgit Strehs

Rüdiger Bösel
Process and mechanical engineer, developer of APOLLON

KYKLOS MODULE from Isny im Allgäu develops modular frequency and sound systems for practices, therapy centres and hotels.

APOLLON started at KYKLOS MODULE, as an idea and as a sound: a set of modules that bring sound and resonance to the place where people lie and rest, without extra work for staff or guests.

Birgit Strehs has worked as a physiotherapist since 1989, with additional qualifications in manual therapy, the Bobath concept, lymphatic drainage and functional training. She brings more than 35 years of daily practice at the treatment bench to APOLLON.

Rüdiger Bösel studied process engineering and mechanical engineering, with a focus on systems and process analysis. He developed and analysed process and resonance systems in industry and research, and he is the developer of the APOLLON system.

AudioCrypt took the APOLLON modules and extended them into a complete system: a whole room in harmony, plus resonance through the bench.

The original idea worked with modules. AudioCrypt turned it into AudioCrypt Sensory Fusion: room resonance from the Satellite One pair, the foundation from Subwoofer One and bench resonance from the BM1 Bench Modules, driven together by the Amp MK1 and kept in the same time.

Audio engineers and electronics engineers designed the system, measured it and checked it technically, from the signal path to the housings. Their aim was a construction that combines uncompromising sound with the simplest possible operation: lie down, choose a programme, listen.

AudioCrypt Sensory Fusion

Three AudioCrypt layers carry the APOLLON frequencies from the server to the person on the bench.

The AudioCrypt platform delivers the APOLLON frequencies encrypted and licensed, the same platform publishers and labels use to protect their audio. The Amp MK1 keeps them in its local library and plays them offline, with rights linked to the device. AudioCrypt Sensory Fusion then carries them into the room and through the bench.

For the person on the bench none of this is visible. They choose a programme on the touchscreen, and the system does the rest.

New modules on request

Because AudioCrypt runs on a digital audio network, the system can keep growing.

HUB One sends the programmes over the network to as many NetAmps as the rooms need: One, 2+1, Quad and Octa, in any mix. The amplifiers are intelligent: setup, new frequencies and updates arrive over the network.

New modules can join at any time. If a customer needs something that does not exist yet, AudioCrypt can build it and connect it to the intelligent amplifiers.

06

Grounded in what is documented

APOLLON builds on documented ground: vibroacoustics as a field, the physics of sound in air and through solid surfaces, and the history of tuning.

Apollon Science sets out this ground, with its limits: what vibroacoustics studies, how the attunement field is built, and what history says about tuning and pitch.

APOLLON is a sound and resonance experience for relaxation, recovery and wellbeing. It is not a medical device and makes no promise of any specific effect on the body.
